What a pity to lose you Cris, I hope you are fine, I missed you and your videos! ❤❤❤
You seem like a really kind person. You really motivate to learn ^^
Very good lesson 🎉
I found your video very good and helpful. Thank you very much.
Russians never using articles in English is so funny 😂 (in a good way!) I was pretty shocked to discover that they don’t even exist in Russian, so it makes sense that you’d not use them out of instinct.
In English the 3rd conditional expresses regret about a past event, like in your first examples, and the 2nd conditional expresses a hypothetical situation, which is not true. If she had had a dog, she wouldn't have been so lonely. (but she didn't have a dog and so she was very lonely: this talks about a past event, she was loney and a dog would have helped her) If she had a dog, she wouldn't be lonely ( she doesn't have a dog, and she is lonely now, but hypothetically speaking for the future, a dog would help that situation). If she had had more money she would not have lost her house (but she didn't and regretfully, she lost it) If she had more money she could buy a house (this is a dream for the future)
I find this lesson confusing because at first you translated it as the 3rd conditional in English "if we had come..., we would have had..." then later you translate it as the 2nd conditional in English, " if today was Sunday, we would go..." So, should it be, " if today had been Sunday, we would have gone to the park" (but it isn't Sunday, so we didn't go to the park)

Your teaching Russian alphabet with explanation in English-speaking gave me a great pleasure and encouragement for learning Russian language. Thank you mam.
I used to use Duolingo but I forgot my password. Been trying to reset it for three years. They have never once responded.
Thank you so much for your videos. I am just beginning to learn and you are so kind and helpful! I will watch them all. <3

So you want to leave Russia solely because of the war? In that case, to be consistent, you shouldn't go to any NATO countries. Apart from the recent bloody invasions and/or wanton destruction of Serbia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen and others, they are also supporting the US's illegal occupation of Eastern Syria, and the open theft of Syrian oil and wheat, and supporting the US in its attempts to start a war between Taiwan and China which would be a disaster for the world. NATO have recently armed and instigated the rebels in the recent Sudanese civil war, and the US instigated the overthrow of Prime Minister Imran Khan in Pakistan. I could go on and on, but if you are interested in the full list of US/NATO crimes, you could look them up for yourself - there's even a Wikipedia page listing the over 100 US military interventions since 1990. So to whine about the SMO - which would never have happened without NATO aggression in the first place - and then to go to a NATO country would be complete hypocrisy.
Very interesting and well-explained Kris. By the way, we have the word 'planchet' in English as well, but it's quite unusual. Planchets are what we call the blank metal discs that go into the coining machinery at the mint to have the designs struck onto them.

Hello from New Zealand
Excellent! Just what I needed to know.
I like the language I wish I can learn it faster ❤
I am not beautiful.
Great class as always! but I'm just here breaking my head into a million pieces trying to understand why this changes like that when it's only separated by an 'и' and the context seems to be the same. I just don't understand why it's not: потому что это помогает мне узнавать 'мой родной' язык и 'мой родной' культуру. n please don't get me wrong! I'm not trying to change ur language or anything like that! I'm just trying to understand why? for the most part I try to stay away from grammar as much as I can n just try to learn a new language just like kids do, just by listening millions of times, but sometimes I get curious n try to find out the why... of things. BTW, I always hated grammar even in my native language which is not even English, so actually that is also why is so hard for me.
